I don't know what your budget is like, but I have heard very good things
about the Eizo LCD's. I am looking forward to seeing one and evaluating its
performance for myself. The 18" is currently available here in the states
with the larger model to soon follow (next several months according to
Eizo). I've said this before and is worth mentioning again, I am rather
fond of LaCie's 18" PhotonBlue II.
