Grant,

Did you turn iView's ColorSync preferences (Images
tab)? This should use ColorSync for iView's display,
although it may not solve iView's throwing out
profiles for web sites. I never noticed that problem,
but for Web images, I have Photoshop convert to sRGB
and delete profiles anyway since no other browsers can
use profiles.

iView has a confusing ColorSync implementation. The
preferences use the term "color conversion" which
seems to be about monitor display compensation only.
Those aren't the same thing and I sure hope it isn't
converting. They also have the "Calibrator" palette
that has nothing to do with calibration and is only
about basic image color adjustment.
