Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the reply!
Amazing... iView Media Pro's tech support thinks that it *is* ColorSync
aware... I'm equally amazed that iPhoto isn't either... nor the
Finder... wow!
Somewhere between the two sets of apps, falls Internet Explorer 5.2.2,
That's correct. That nice little check box turns IE 4.5 and 5.0 on the
Mac
only into a smart, ICC savvy application.
Okay.... but why does IE display colours differently from my other ICC
aware apps? I find that colours are more saturated and contrast is
increased, when the ColorSync prefs are turned *on*.
Is it perhaps doing something with IE performing some shenanigans with
a gamma which is more suitable for PCs than Macs and if so, how will my
images appear to PC users... (not that I know many)? If that's not
what's happening ... then have you any idea why the IE display doesn't
match the others?
Thanks,
Grant (Paris)
