Internet Exploder has UI to enable / disable matching to the Display
profile. Native OS/X applets have color management happen without being
manually enabled at application level. Say if I place a PDF 1.4 (there
is a limit on older version numbers) in a Mail document, it is color
managed. Its nice to have the Mac OS steadily grow more applet and
media capabilities.
