Has anyone else ever experienced a sudden color change on their wide format
printer?
In my case I'm getting a green color cast (a little less magenta and a
little more cyan and yellow).
The nozzle check is fine (so I assume no clogs), and it is not a corrupt
driver or profile (since I've tried it on a separate computer with another
copy of driver and custom profile and photoshop). Also, the cartridges
(9000) stilll have at least half a cart full of ink in them.
What can change inside the printer to cause this? A corrupt lookup table
perhaps?
Please let me know if this has happened to you and what you've done about
it. (If I get the printer re-profiled, will I have to do it again later?)
I would really appreciate any help anyone could give me. The printer is
useless like this.
Thanks,
-- Michelle
PS I'm using an Epson 7000 printer with Generations 4 Enhanced inks in Epson
9000 cartridges, custom profiles, and Mac OS 9.2.2
