Does anybody know how Quark 4.11 on a mac deals with rgb jpegs?
The QuarkCMS XTension on QuarkXPress 4.11 is basically busted. It works
as designed in versions 4.04 and 4.1 (maybe 4.01, 4.02, and 4.03 but I
haven't tested them recently).
We're getting really different results from different machines.
We are saving the Quark page as eps to avoid and printer drivers or
ppds.
Still the color comes out drastically different between two machines.
We have isolated it to something quark is doing. We just don't know how
to controll it.
EPSs are ignored by QuarkXPress entirely. I'd be looking at a driver
setting, or maybe the PPD version between the workstations is different.
