Wasn't there something about Colorspace profiles having to be matrix based
in Photoshop 5, and only 6 and up support LUT-based profiles for
colorspaces?
I might be wrong, I am not much of a user anymore... But if I'm not, then
the reason might be the profile in question is a LUT-based one, usually one
made from an actual device (scanner, digicam) as oposed to a matrix-based
one, that is usually a synthetic profile.
In other words, you need to upgrade :)

Not good advice. I suspect that the profile might have been made on a PC and

you're on a Mac running OS9 and that's why the profile doesn't show up.

Under OS9 you'd place the folder in the ColorSync folder in your System

If not, it's either compressed, encoded or perhaps a profile made on a PC in

which case you'll need a small utility like DropColorSyncProfile from
