Not good advice. I suspect that the profile might have been made on a PC and
you're on a Mac running OS9 and that's why the profile doesn't show up.
Under OS9 you'd place the folder in the ColorSync folder in your System
Folder (for ICC profiles, you can simply drag and drop over the System
Folder). Does this profile icon appear like the other ICC profiles you have?
If not, it's either compressed, encoded or perhaps a profile made on a PC in
which case you'll need a small utility like DropColorSyncProfile from
Apple.
