Roberto,
I would recommend the Roland FJ series.
There are a few devices to choose from
They have the FJ52 series, 6 color devices, the FJ500 series 8 color devices
and the new FJ540 series that have two sets of 6 color.
These Hexachrome devices have a very wide colorgamut and are also Pantone
certified.
They only have Or and Gr in pigment inks but CcMmYK in either Dye or
pigment.
You also have the option to look at AbsoluteProof in combination with these
printers and that is the only proofing solution that allows you to use
Hexchrome profiles as a source and destination profiles.
You can also Proof CMYK + spot colors with total control over the spot
colors.
You have an editable Lab Library where you can set up your custom colors or
edit the built in spot colors.
Your most reallistic comparison is to look at profiles made for these
devices in combination with the Rips (proofing software) The software in
front of the device is a significant factor to the colorgamut of the device.
If you are interested I could send you some profiles off forum to compatre
the colorgamut.
