I haven9t had that experience with any Epson inkjet. Maybe a different
inkjet manufacturer? In any event the "close enough" for B&W is what anyone
could ever hope for with Epson driver using with color inks instead of just
black. I'll guess serious b&w printers use quad black set-up?
I'll shut-up and get off the podium.
