Hi Dan,
We've had no problems getting good gray balanced RGB profiles for our 4 Epson
1280's (via the Epson driver) in both NCA and Photo Enhanced modes using
MonacoProfiler 4.5 and an EyeOne UV. This same combo also produces great RGB
profiles for our Fuji Pictro 3000 printer.
The output from all 4 Epsons is virtually identical and amazingly close to the
P3000's output. All 5 printers print the gray gradation portion of our test
print file very smoothly and with no hint of "color tinted" or "banded" areas.
Not sure why you say such a thing is impossible to achieve?
