Works fine in Mac OS X.
In fact, I've discovered an even cooler element of support in X, at least
10.2.x. I have one G4 system that is used in two different monitor setups,
most of the time with dual large CRTs, the other part of the time with a
single old 15" CRT. Mac OS X remembers each setup, so that I don't have to
re-setup Display (resolution, profile, relationship of two displays, etc.)
each time. I shut it down disconnect it in one environment, haul it the
other location, connect it up, start it up and away I go. Of course the
first couple of times, I would check my settings, but each time (after the
first setup) I affirmed that it was using the correct settings. Pretty
convenient and I know Mac OS 9 doesn't do this.
