I was pushing on ColorVision to combine the programs two or three years
ago for no other reason than the physical process of PreCal/OptiCal:

Clean the screen -> start PreCal -> black calibrate the DTP92 (usually by
pressing it against the leg of my jeans under the desk in a darkened
room) -> spit on the suction cup -> stick the 92 on the glass -> run
PreCal -> quit -> clean screen again -> start OptiCal -> black calibrate
the 92 again -> work up some spit -> stick the 92 on the glass -> run
OptiCal -> create the profile -> remove the 92 -> quit OptiCal -> Windex
the monitor again.

Simply put.... It's a waste of good spit and Windex.
