From Amazom.Com, somebody has a friend out there...
The worst book on color management imaginable, January 23, 2003
Reviewer: William X. from Boulder, Colorado USA
An unfortunate exercise devoid of useful content.
I know one of the authors (Chris Murphy). He is the reason the book is so
poor. He is a difficult, technically incompetent individual who lacks the
intelligence and experience to write a memo much less a book. His inability
to understand---much less solve!---problems in color management is
documented via various mailing lists and web-sites. Evidence of his profound
stupidity is available via Google or the Omnigroup mailing list archives.
Perhaps Mr. Murphy will pass. Then the second edition of this book will be
worth purchasing. Until it is available, I recommend staying away from this
trash. If you buy this book, it will end up in a landfill. Spare the
landfill, don't buy this trash!
