Dear list, I am experiencing this problem:
we have ProofMaster installed on a G4 running system X 10.1 and a
series of profiles, created with ProfileMaker 4.1 and Eye1, for the
Epson9000 (the paper is "Epson Semigloss Photo paper"). The prints
come out with a strange thin greenish outline on some of the contour
of objects in prints (mainly photographs). We thought was a problem
of the plotter itself so we contacted Epson and they suggested us to
try and print a series of coloured boxes with a black frame around.
We did this test printing without passing through the rip, that is
directly using Espon drive, and nothing strange happened, then we
printed the same document passing through the rip and printing on a
couple of different queues. In both the last cases we had this
strange greenish border between the black frame and the inside of the
box (being it red, cyan, yellow or green). Has this ever happened
before? What could be the problem? Have I missed this same subject in
the mailing list? In this case can you tell me when this has
happened and what the subject was (you see, I back up this list on a
FileMaker file!)
Thanks for any help.
Sonia
