Oops. Spoke too soon. The new version does attempt to respect
embedded profiles, but it is buggy. If you import a file (with a
profile that deviates from sRGB) the display is wrong, both in the
"organize" and "edit" modes. But it prints correctly and if you close
and re-open iPhoto, it even displays correctly.
