It is true that the EyeOne bundled software is not 'loaded' in comparison to
the old ColorShop softare or the SpectroCam software, especially the PC
version of SpectroCam who feels just like a mini-colorimetry lab. Robin
Myers's excellent SpectraShop who presently only supports the Spectrolino
could be called to expand your measurements options. (Robin might decide to
support the EyeOne some day?) There is always KeyWizard that GMB sells
separately, which allows working with Excel spreadsheets to capture
colorimetric and density data from the EyeOne (those capabilities should be
incorporated into i1Share, IMO). Other than that, MeasureTool (without a
dongle) will work with the EyeOne allowing you to work in spectral mode in
both emissive and reflective mode, measure custom charts and make spot
measurements -- hard to beat this value. Finally, there is the unsupported
and undocumented ColorLab, also from GMB, that intererfaces with the EyeOne
just like MeasureTool. ColorLab feels like a colorimetry powerhouse but it
is painfully long to learn it through trial and error. I only use it for
basic things.
