Well, I did get personal, specific responses to the bug reports I
filed, indicating that *someone* at Apple read them - presumably
someone associated with the Development team. It's not like I just
whined to the ColorSync list. I really do think this is a huge
embarrassment to Apple. They tout the advantages of ColorSync on the
Safari site, then can't pass their own test. If they want color
professionals to take Safari seriously, they need to at least match
what Mac IE Explorer has been able to do for years. Stating that
Safari is "ICC-aware" because it can color manage isolated JPEGs that
it loads outside of an HTML page is a bad joke. By the same token, my
Ford 250 4x4 gets 30 mpg - downhill, with the engine off.
