Monaco Systems Clause 3 (every app I have access to)
Actually, this clip from Monaco's licensing policies is a little dated. We
have a new license policy (as Andrew alluded to) in effect and I am happy to
provide it to anybody who would like to see the official lingo. I have
attached the new license to this email - although I suspect it will be
stripped for this posting. While I'm "on the phone", I might as well provide
a little Monaco Systems product status update info.
Next week, Monaco Gamutworks will be available for download. Product
features:
1) View multiple gamut volumes (unlimited) with Transparency/Wire Frame/Real
or display color.
2) Load Images and see soft proof/gamut warning/E map.
3) View image Lab's in 3D and compare against gamut volumes.
4) Profile Info tab shows basic profile attributes.
5) Save "eval sessions". IOW. If you load up a bunch of stuff, you can
quickly recall it without having to load profiles/images all over again.
6) MacOSX and Windows compatible.
It's a freebie and will be shipping on the CDs with our pro products in an
upcoming "dot" release. The release should also include the new license
language in our installers. To use Gamutworks, you must have a Monaco dongle
(either Proof, Profiler Gold, or Profiler Platinum).
If anybody has any comments about the software, it would be great to hear
them.
