We had the exact same problem, along with uneven color on the left side of
the screen, when compared to the right side.
Sent it back, and they replaced the screen, but it exhibited the exact same
problem. Sent it back a second time, and was returned as being within
spec. If it was replaced the first time for the problem, why is it all of a
sudden within spec the second time, exhibiting the same unevenness?
How is it within spec when they advertise it as being consistent color from
edge to edge, when clearly it's NOT!
Apple at times, can be accommodating in their repairs, and other times, you
get better feedback from talking to a stone.
