Hi There,
Can anyone help? I have just installed Monaco EZcolor 2.5 on G4 Mac
(O.S.,9.2) with 22" Lacie Electron Blue 22 monitor.
Adobe Gamma switched off as advised in Manual
Following onscreen instructions, I attach the colorimeter, it checks
the monitor with 100% Brightness and Contrast, then asks me to take
brightness down to zero. It checks again, then tells me that the
black is to dark for it to use and options to retry or to check by
eye. I choose eye and it shows black squares asking me to choose one
where the letter is just visible. Retry doesn't work either.
None of the letters are visible. They all look like black squares.
I have tried changing white point from 9300 which the monitor has
been so far, to the recommended 6500. I have also tried 7500
unsuccssfully.
If I go back to the beginning and skip this part and keep going, it
builds a monitor profile that looks distinctly off. I have then
reverted to old settings.
Can anyone help this CMS Newbie?
Thanks in advance
Owen Daily
