One more thing: does BasicColor Display 2.5 run in OSX NATIVE,
without any VCGT loading issues??
Actually, if it could use the USB Sequel Chroma4 instead of the Squid
it would be perfect for my needs since I already have a Chroma4 (and
love it). In my case, I don't need to worry about calibrating flat
panels yet.
I have the Formac version of the Mitsu 2060 22" CRT (hope I got those
no's right) and according to its literature it definitely supports
DDC signals. I've just been waiting for a calibration solution that
can actually work with it -- could the wait be finally over?

BasicColor Display 2.5 is being released as we speak (today). It offers
total DDC support for modern CRTs which support the communication protocal.
Their bundle with the "Squid" is offered at www.integrated-color.com and its
reseller affiliates for $250.00.
The kit includes:
BasicColor Display 2.5 SERIALIZED!!!!!! ((everyone listening??? NO MORE
MATCHPHRASES), darn what can we complain about now?)
Squid USB Instrument
DDC Adapter
And last but not least , tech support.
Tech support?? Qu'est que c'est? (pardon my French) ;-)
