Very natural...
One fix would be use the Mac app called File Type. Very easy to rebuild type
and creator codes.
I was using a long time without any problem.

I'm only guessing, but I believe that Upton's greatware - ColorThink
(latest) will fix this -
Well, my X experience is very low, but between OS9 and Win/98se/Me/2000/XP I
have a clean street.
Let me know if you need more information about to get File Type or how to
use it.
