Yes, this is how it's supposed to be. I'm not privy to exactly how this
works, but basically when the device is connect, and the driver added
to Print Center, its profiles are made available by ColorSync.
I guess it makes it easy for the driver to utilize profiles but....
doesn't Epson realize users need them in the system library so other
apps can find them?
Apps should never have to find profiles. They "ask" ColorSync what
profiles are available and this information is provided to them.
Applications that make assumptions as to the location of profiles are
doing things incorrectly. Examples CorelDRAW, Macromedia Freehand and
QuarkXPress (on OS 9/Classic).
