as Dennis mentioned, the Phase-one anti-moire PS plug-in works really
well and besides that, I'd suggest cranking up the banding
suppression settings in CaptureOne......although its intended to
address banding issues with the H20,at its highest setting, the
documentation says that the capture quality will match the lesser
quality of scanned film .....don't know if it would help or not,but
worth trying. Good luck.
Dear List
I have a client who shoots with a LightPhase H20.
Now the printing company(one of the best in Scandinavia)
has severe problems with moiri with some images. Not only textiles!
And they think that the images are to sharp!
The problem occurs when down-sizing for newspapaer-ads(85 lpi).
From app. 48 Mb down to app. 7-8 Mb.
They propose a soft/blur filter or a "bit-out-of-focus" to solve it.
Any solutions/opinions?
