Try down sizing in multiple steps to get to your smaller file size.
This should help the moire problem. For example downsize from 48mb to
40mb to 32mb to 25mb ..... you get the idea. I've found this smooths
out most moire problems that crop up when making large jumps from big
file to small files.
Good luck.

Dear List
I have a client who shoots with a LightPhase H20.
Now the printing company(one of the best in Scandinavia)
has severe problems with moiri with some images. Not only textiles!
And they think that the images are to sharp!
The problem occurs when down-sizing for newspapaer-ads(85 lpi).
From app. 48 Mb down to app. 7-8 Mb.
They propose a soft/blur filter or a "bit-out-of-focus" to solve it.
Any solutions/opinions?
