Looks like I'm going to have the fun (not) task of taming another
Xerox Phaser 7700. The Phasermatch software is a strange beast. It
modifies the laserwriter driver to allow custom profiles to be used.
Does anyone know if a similar solution is or will be available for
printing through Mac OS X?

Could you expand on the "taming" of the 7700? We're considering
purchase of one and I'm in the info gathering phase. Are there any
user sites containing specifics?
