In the first message I responded to it was not clear that the sender was
using profiles. One thought I had was that they were trying to fiddle with
the bias and gain guns to get their monitor to have better visual match.
So I thought it was best to mention them.
It is the viewing condition that can be different, that is, the viewing
angle. There is less of a viewing angle on LCDs than on CRTs so the LCD is
viewing environment is more prone to complaints from an end-users that is
used to viewing images on an CRT display. You have to stay right in front of
the LCD screen or else you will get a different view of the light, dark and
color of the image.
