You might be experiencing "bronzing". This is a diffraction phenomenon.
This can be caused by too high a concentration of colorant in the ink.
Since you cannot control the ink concentration in the printer, you might
try setting different ink limits in the RIP. Sometimes this effect is
visible only when overprinting on top of black ink. Does the effect
appear when printing the pure colors individually? Or only in the final print?
