Spyder Master Suite Spectro and Gretag's Eye-One Photo.
The EyeOne Photo is going to provide a vastly superior Spectrophotometer for
building those output profiles. The unit that ships with the Sypder suite is
a one patch at a time affair which will drive most people insane when
measuring hundreds of patches. The EyeOne will handle the display AND the
output device, do strip and spot measure and read ambient light! It really
is the "Swiss army knife" of Spectrophotometer's. You'll also have a module
to build scanner profiles which the Spyder Suite doesn't do at all. Do you
need to only deal with RGB devices? If so, this is the most bang for the
buck by far.
