but I know what you mean, and this issue of "scum dot" has been
documented and discussed before, search the archives using the phrase
"scum dot".

ACE, that is-- but anyway I'll take a look to the archives. Laterally,
I've seen that Apple CMM adds a lot more noise to my flat color
ilustrations also when converting from RGB to CMYK :(
