I'm not trying to start a conspiracy theory, or be disrespectfult to Apple or
ColorSync, simply to make Photoshop's color management be defined directly in
Photoshop, where it belongs, without any more outside factors than necessary.
Already, even by selecting internal Photoshop settings (like US prepress, a
common choice) you are using the monitor control panel's settings for monitor
profiles.
