I have come across similar problems with 4 different Epson Photo printers
and have put it down to the drivers..for now.
When printing say an IT8 or similar output target there is a noticeable
sharpness on the edges that is missing in OS X. Everyone thinks I'm
imagining it and nobody yet as confirmed similar fault so I've given up on
it for now. Until today... I sent a job out on a Photo 2100, and compared it
to a copy that I had printed out in OS9 previously and its just not as
sharp. This has nothing to do with output settings and profile choice. Fact:
The driver under OS9 prints out sharper.
Can someone explain?
