So what you're saying is that Canon will not support ColorSync in the method that it is designed to operate. Normally I would select ColorSync in the Color Options window and then have access to any number of loaded printer profiles. Instead Canon is denying user profile selection and only supplying their factory "unknown" default profile.

This means that if I want to use custom profiles I can only do it by selecting a printer profile in Photoshop and Color Correction>"None" in the Color Options window.

O.K., I think I have it straight.
