I like the NEC MultiSync FP912SB. They are 19" and you can get one for
less than $300. It is the same type of monitor as their SpectraView
calibration monitor.
I have four of them manually calibrated via the onscreen controls with
input from Heidelberg ViewOpen. I then profile them with ViewOpen. The
same image displaying in PhotoShop on all 4 are identical (including
neutrals). Three are running OS 9, one of them is running OS 10.

I need to replace my aging monitor and wanted to know
if anyone would have a recommendation for a good 17"
(or 19") CRT in the $300-$400 range.
Additionally, what features should I look for in a CRT
other than being able to adjust the R, G, and B beams independently?
Thanks for your time.
