I do copy my display profile into the folder for IP since that's where it
gets it's color info. The display profile is for the IP soft proof so yes,
if you really think the profile is different from the last calibration
routine, you'd want to copy it. You make a VERY good point. I really wish IP
would just find the display profile like all the other smart ICC savvy
applications.
