Thanks for the reply!

ColorLab is a bit of a mystery, but I'm beginning to figure this out
fairly well.
From reading Real World Color Management, and adding a bit of my own
judgment, the Delta E numbers are no more than "bots dots on the
highway". Giving you guidance as to "accuracy" of profile, but it seems
that there is major subjectivity to this whole process.
It is this subjectivity that I'm now canvasing about...hoping to find a
"common subjectivity" (if this even exists) so I have an intelligently
grounded base to start from.

I'm attempting to take into account what I intend to do with the images
involved in my color work-flow....
