That's sort of the price you pay for perceptual. Usually relative
colorimetric w/ black point compensation is a better compromise between a
pure relcol intent and perceptual.
Another option would be to build yourself a profile with Gretag's
ProfileMaker and use their "Chroma Plus" gamut mapping. It helps keep colors
a bit more "punchy" when using perceptual.
