Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Well, thats what spectral color definitions are for. DataColor has been
producing such definitions and the software to use them for the textile industry
for many years. Factors such as gloss and texture are also factored in. A Lab
value won't have the info needed to determine the color of a sample under a
different lighting condition; that required spectral values to calculate metameric
shift, so the answer would be no: there is no way of predicting colors under
different lighting from your current data, unless you captured spectral data
in the first place.
