New ACE for G5's..

Our new G5 came with an update for photoshop.
The update optimizes PS to run dual processors but also includes an update
to the ACE CMM.
The installer reads as follows.
-Replaces the Adobe Color Engine component (ACECarbonLib) with a new
version that is designed for the G5 processor
This sounds great, but, will it have an adverse effect on my converesions
or existing profiles?
