I mentioned this once before, but my machine and all of my account
settings were lost, so I don't know if there was any answer for it, so
here goes:
I've built some profiles for one of our inkjet machines -Grand Format.
The profile looks good in almost every aspect bar one, gradients. I
have run a lot of gradients as tests through it and for the most part,
they look good. The one example that doesn't is a photoshop file that
has a red gradient the fades to white (the material). As it goes from
it's red color to white, the color changes from red to a magenta color.
The yellow drops out as the red fades. Is there any way you guys know
of the reduce this problem? The job that is being worked on needs this
to appear red completely through the gradient.
The file is a Photoshop file and it looks ok. The problem has to do
with something in the profile.
Software:
ColorBurst 7.2a
Monaco Profiler 3.2 (upgrading is not an option, so please don't tell
me to upgrade)
Spectrolino (with UV filter)
Ripped in 4c 360x360dpi
Thanks for any input from the group
Mike Syverson
