Yes, it is true. But it's more than that. As you may already know, X-Rite
makes TWO versions of the DTP92, a USB version and a Serial version. What
the good folks at ICS decided in the latest version of basICColor Display
v2.5+ was to drop support for the Serial version. Something the good folks
at colorvision have not done, in the OSX version of OptiCal, since they
support BOTH flavors of the DTP92 (Mac and PC). Same with Gretagmacbeth in
PMP 4.1.5 (Mac and PC), same with Fuji ColourKit in MonitorProfiler v4 (Mac
and PC).
It just broke my heart that the ICS folks have against supporting the serial
DTP92 alltogether in Display.
