I just got this printer and it is becoming increasingly evident that
something is wrong with the driver with respect to its operation using
ColorSync color management. The symptom is washed out prints, most
notable is the loss of highlight details, and have a distinct blue to
purple color shift.

Over at Prodig (www.prodig.org) we have had the start of a thread about
this today, and it has been joined by several users who are more than
happy with the results.
From postings so far, and you are most welcome to join up, it appears
that there is a strong possibility that you have something very wrong at
your end.
