Re: Proofing inks

Can we please return to my initial question.

Has anyone tested various inks including UV inks on an HP5500 or like?

Specifically: would the use of UV inks produce more consistent results?
(Someone said to me that they used UV inks because of better consistency. I just want to substantiate that claim. Do you agree that we would get better colour consistency if we ran our proofer with UV inks as opposed to the C4930A series inks?)
Has anyone performed such tests?

Walter

The above would have me running for cover, but then I may be reading
different samples and getting a different picture. Could you tell me
what you are measuring for these number please?
