I just found out from the Oki site that the 9500 has a full complement of
color printing controls! Color management can be completely disabled inside
the printer or it can use PostScript Color Management (CSAs and CRDs) but,
more importantly, it seems to fully support ICC color conversions. I just
have to find out about exactly which ICC profiles it can 'see' and where it
gets them from but, this feature alone is thousand times better news than
whathever the Xerox 7700 can do. Plus, the 9500 has a very nice
linearisation feature. So, it looks like, for my money, I am going with the
Oki.
