Proofing Media for UltraChrome

Hi everyone,

I am currently using the BestColor 9150 and 9180 papers with UltraChrome
inks on an Epson 9600. Everything is great except for the blacks. I am
looking for a media close to the Lab values of L95 A0 B-3. Last time I
posted this request for suggestions, several people recommend the Best
8180 and the Epson Proofing Paper Commercial Semimatte. I got a roll of
the 8180, which does allow me to achieve darker blacks and a larger
color gamut, but forces me to use the Absolute Colorimetric rendering
intent because the paper has a higher luminance and is bluer than a
typical press stock. The Epson PPCS paper is very neutral (it has A and
B values of less than 1) but it does not dry very quickly and smears
easily.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a media close to the Lab values of
L95 A0 B-3?

Is anyone using the Pictorico media on a 7600/9600 with Ultrachrome?

Thanks,

Abe Hayhurst
