I'll second this suggestion as well. We've been using ColorQuartet on our
ScanMate 11000 scanners for years with great success. With the advent of
CQ5 you can easily set up a color managed workflow with a custom scanner
profile (added a RGB 8 bit/16bit RAW setup). You can download the full
version from the Esko-Graphics web site and it will run for thirty days
before it locks itself out and requires a hardware key. Give it a test
drive and see if it suits your needs!
