Black or white?
It depends on the thickness and opacity of the substrate. For completely
translucent media like polyethelene I use white packing. For really thin
offset media I use white backing. For thick, 100lbs coated it does not make
a difference. ISO-5/3 says to always measure with a back backing equivalent
to a Status-T 1.5 visual density. But I don't. And there is nothing wrong
with my profiles.
