Kirk,
The part in your email about matching to ColorMatch indicates a gamma
problem, and makes me wonder how the slide shows are being viewed. Are
you presenting the slideshow on a single display, an second external
display, or projecting it?
iPhoto matches to the primary display profile. If you are using a
second display or a projector, try creating a profile for the other
display(s) and changing the primary display (the one with the menu bar)
to be the one you are using to present the slideshow.
