For those that have been following this thread here is a summary of
the replies I have received so far. Here are the vendors that have
offerings. Some offer way more than just proof verification.
Note: These are in no particular order!
1. BasICColor Control

As you can imagine, each of these solutions has its strengths. But
since #6 is the cheapest and simplest form I would first be interested
in finding out just how difficult it would be set up such a system. If
anyone has advice on how to accomplish #6 us
ing an X-Rite DTP41, I would appreciate your advice. (The portion I
need are the software that would be able to collect the data using the
DTP41 (to drive it) and secondly, the Excel program to calculate and
track the data. - Sorry, but I am not a progr
ammer.)
A programmer may be more expensive than basICColor control. The
measuring software, that is behind control, basICColor catch, is free,
BTW. So you can use catch to acquire the data and Excel (which isn4t
free either) to process your data. Once you are tired of importing
measurement data into Excel, you may consider using control - it gives
you a lot of additional functionality. A 14 days trial license
(freebie) is available through simple on-line registration.
Unfortunately, the English on-line help is not finished yet for control
- we are working on that. Keep looking at the above mentioned link, we
will upload the latest versions continually.
